"The purpose of a storyteller is not to tell you how to think, but to give you questions to think upon."

-Brandon Sanderson

Hello, Brave One.

The world will always make you feel like your stories don't really matter, or that you must constantly measure your worthiness.

Tell your stories. There is someone out there who needs to hear them.

The people in your life won't understand why you need to "rehash" what happened and dig up old memories that might embarrass them.

Dig without regret. Let them carry what is theirs.

There are moments you will feel unqualified, ridiculous, and messy. Most of the time you will have no idea what you're doing.

The best stories come from this place. Trust the process.

Your first draft will be horrendous.

That's okay. Finish it anyway.

It's time to write that thing you've been dreaming about.

I promise if you stick with it, you will surprise yourself.
